Agiles Projektmanagement in der Hochschulbildung

Target group:
PhD candidates and researchers who are curious about Agile Methods and Tools.
Objectives:
Agile Project Management (Agile PM) originates from projects in IT development. However, agility may also inspire classical project management, for example with regard to its impact on self-leadership and self-management. Agile PM helps you professionalize your projects, such as your PhD thesis and other research projects. It encourages continuous and cyclical learning and provides direct feedback on your progress. Agile Project Management facilitates collaboration with others across large distances, promotes open discussions, and helps you embrace change.
In the 2 workshop sessions, you will learn about the agile mindset and culture. You will develop a workflow based on the Scrum framework, although it will not fully follow the Scrum rules. Through group discussions, work in pairs, and individual reflection, you will learn about Agile PM and find out which aspects of Agile PM fit your individual workflow.
The follow-up sessions provide you with the opportunity to discuss your learning progress in the field of agility in a group coaching session. In addition, during the follow-up sessions, we will explore Agile PM using OpenProject, the project management software provided by OVGU, as well as Agile Boards on Zoom and Agile processes with HAWKI (the AI provided by OVGU). Participation in the Teaser and the follow-up session is optional.
