Study & Teaching Fund 2025/2026 – New Funding Round
The Study & Teaching Fund at Otto von Guericke University Magdeburg is launching a new funding round. All members of the university – including departments, university institutions, and student groups – are eligible to apply.
Funding priorities include digital and interactive teaching formats, the integration of international students, and education for sustainable development. The focus is particularly on:

Teaching and learning projects that strengthen students' digital sovereignty and further develop their critical thinking and judgment skills, especially in dealing with digital technologies.

Teaching and learning projects that support the social and academic integration of international students and facilitate their transition into the regional labour market.

Innovative teaching and learning projects to strengthen future and design competencies in the field of sustainable development.
The maximum funding amount is €5,000 for individual projects and €10,000 for joint projects.
Project applications can be submitted until 31 October 2026. Please use only the form on the website of the Study & Teaching Fund. There you will also find detailed information on funding, the required documents, and the selection process. The decision on funding is made by the Senate Commission for Study and Teaching.
