Medical implants heal and contribute to quality of life, but often cause side effects in the human body, including implant failure. The 9 doctoral students at the TACTIC graduate school develop innovative solutions in interdisciplinary teams with expertise from Medicine, Medical Technology, Materials Research, Artificial Intelligence, Neuroscience and Computer Science.
