Target group:

This workshop is aimed at all advanced doctoral candidates and postdocs who are preparing to take on their first managerial tasks.

 

Objectives:

In the workshop, they learn important aspects of inspiring Human recources management, which they themselves and the employees enjoy and which is oriented towards modern entrepreneurial requirements. To this end, the necessary communicative tools are trained and tested in a wide variety of everyday management situations.
 

Contents:

• Basic questions of leadership: What makes a good leader?
• How can I integrate previous experiences into my own leadership style?
• The leader as a role model
• Motivation and enthusiasm as important factors
• The role of communication in successful leadership
• Conduct important company meetings safely, such as annual employee reviews, feedback discussions, conflict discussions and others
• Aspects of successful team development
• Radiate security and authenticity in change processes

 

Methods:

• Presentations and group discussions
• Small group and individual work
• Visualization of methods
